The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.

Irvine Regional Park, Orange, at the end of Jamboree. Turn right after entering the park and paying the $3 entry fee at gate. After 1/4 mile, turn Left on Peter‘s Canyon Road. After crossing the Irvine Park Railroad Tracks, turn Right into Lot U. Meet up near the Boathouse Rental next to the Snack Bar.

This week‘s Paint Out will be hosted by member artist Francis DiFronzo.
Francis will be available as a mentor, to help with advice on materials and painting techniques.
Registration is required for these limited access opportunities to paint the Hortense Miller Gardens in preparation for the upcoming Display Show.

Laguna Main Beach. Corner of Broadway and PCH. (end of Hwy 133 into Laguna Beach). Set up near the historic life guard tower and paint south or N towards the gazebo and Las Brisas Restaurant. Restrooms at the N end of the beach. Metered parking on the street or use nearby lots, get there early.

This workshop is suitable for all levels, beginners to advanced painters, with guidance individually tailored to your level at your easel. The workshop is open to SOCALPAPA Members. Limited to 15 participants.

Paint the beautiful nooks and crannies of the 18-acre Nature Center.
Chance to engage with new potential collectors and sell your art, 60% of sales go to artist, 40% is a donation to the Shipley Nature Center.
Bring (1) previously painted finished artwork with you to sell (subject must be of Shipley Nature Center, painted either on site or in the studio). Must be “plein air style,” framed and wired for hanging. No gallery wrap. Backing optional.
Opportunity to sell what you paint the same day on the trails. Framing not required. Sale and casual reception will be open to the public.
Light refreshments provided for artists only (inside the Interpretive Center only).
Artists arrive between 8-9am.

Caspers Wilderness Park. Take the 5 Fwy S and take the offramp at Ortega Hwy (Hwy 74) and go East a few miles towards Lake Elsinore. Go past Christianitos Rd, and after few miles look for the entrance sign on the left.. Entry Fee $5 on weekends. Go thru the gate, bearing left past the riverbed and up the hill to the buildings and restrooms and park in the small lot. Overlook views S and North up the riverbed. Some may want to go past the left turn and go R to the lot below by the sycamore trees and riverbank . Restrooms there also.
