SOCALPAPA and the Environmental Nature Center (ENC) in Newport Beach are excited to announce SOCALPAPA Paints California: Plein Air Art Show and Sale on Saturday and Sunday, April 29th and April 30th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
Original works of art from SOCALPAPA artists will showcase the scenic beauty and rich diversity of California’s natural heritage. Artwork will be displayed on the ENC patio located on the five-acre site. Paintings can be created in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel. Art classes for children will be offered, and SOCALPAPA is also exploring the possibilities of adding music and food trucks to make this event an more vibrant celebration!
Sign-ups are now available through the SOCALPAPA website, along with the Prospectus and Instructions. There are spaces for 18 artists on the patio, so don’t delay! First come, first served.
The Environmental Nature Center is a non-profit, public benefit organization. 70% of all art sales will go to the artist, and the remaining 30% will go to the ENC. The ENC will handle all sales and tax on site and mail payments to the artist later.
