Irvine Regional Park in Orange

From the 5 fwy, get off at Jamboree and go north about 5 or 6 miles. Go past Chapman Ave and continue on Jamboree until it turns into Irvine Park Lane – this will take you to the entry gate.

ALTERNATE: Take the 55 fwy to City of Orange and get off at Chapman Ave. Go east on Chapman and up the large hill; go past Newport Blvd to Jamboree. Turn Left on Jamboree until it turns into Irvine Park Lane – this will take you to the entry gate.

Pay $3 entry fee. Through the gate, make an immediate R and go about a mile down the 10mph road to the Lot N, continue on past the jog to Lot P.  Park and walk around the corner on the trail, for views of sycamores and hillsides. Restrooms near the Creek bike trail to the west of the road.

From the 5 fwy take Jamboree N to Irvine Blvd, go R one short block; go left on Myford Road into the Katie Wheeler Library parking lot.  Meet at the Gazebo. Restrooms by the parking lot.

Back Bay Near Bridge

Meet at the Back Bay trail bridge near the Muth Center in Newport Beach.  Go all the way down University past the Muth Center to the lot for the Black office buildings, park and walk down across the bridge and go L just past it down the dirt horse trail. Paint the trees on either side of the creek. Restrooms in the Muth Center.

Laguna Beach Wilderness at Big Bend

Take the 133 S (Laguna Canyon) towards Laguna Beach—go about a mile or so past El Toro and go R into the parking lot across from the Artists Studios and Used Jeeps dealer. Pay for parking at the Kiosk. Paint the path leading up the hill and background Hills or go farther up and paint the Oaks. Porta-potty in the parking lot.
